This is Md. Sakirul Islam Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Animal Science, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. At present, I have been studying about epidemiology of avian/swine influenza. I am working to investigate the current situation of avian/swine influenza in Bangladesh. Also, I am studying to investigate the farmers and people awareness regarding avian/swine influenza in Bangladesh. Moreover, I am trying to elucidate the strain of avian/swine influenza viruses and their route of introduction in Bangladesh. This is a translation research and the main purpose of my present research work is to bring the insights of laboratory information for prevention and control of zoonotic disease like avian/swine influenza in globally.
