I am a general practitioner who is passionate about working with patients in the context of the environment in which they live. My goal is to work with my community to address the social determinants of health in our young people, particularly those whom are at-risk and marginalised, and to build on the strengths inherent in a healthy rural community. In my role as Senior Lecturer with UWA, I am privileged to be involved in the education of our next generation of rural doctors and am an early researcher in the areas of adolescent health and wellbeing. I am interested in health policy and contributing to the strategic planning of health services across the Southwest region.
