Financial Contribution

Individual Donations

Thank you for your interest in, and support of, Rural and Remote Health (RRH). This journal, your journal, truly is one of a kind. It is the only international journal that is peer-reviewed, fully indexed, free to publish, free to access and dedicated solely to improving health and healthcare for rural and remote communities worldwide. We need your help to continue to make this possible.

Your tax-deductable donation will contribute to journal operating costs, including IT support, website maintenance, website app development and promoting the value of authors’ works. A strong focus for RRH is increasing international exposure and support to better reflect the global reach and impact of the journal for rural and remote communities, health practitioners and academics.

Institutional Subscriptions

Rural and Remote Health operates solely on the financial contributions and in-kind support from individual donors and subscribers, such as your institution.

Subscription fees contribute to RRH operational costs, including staff salaries, IT support and website maintenance. In addition, institutions are asked to consider making an additional contribution to the journal development fund. Development fund monies are predominantly used to maintain and update the journal website for evolving needs and opportunities in academic publishing. For example, ensuring security, compatibility and functionality of the website in an evolving environment while continuing to add value for authors.

We thank you for your interest in RRH and welcome your ongoing support to make this vital peer-reviewed resource freely available to all, including low-resource countries, remote communities and rural health professionals.

Please contact us at rrhjournal@jcu.edu.au for more information on becoming an institutional subscriber.
