Brooke Spaeth is a Research Assistant at the Flinders University international Centre for Point-of-Care Testing (POCT). Brooke undertook a Bachelor of Medical Science degree at Flinders University and completed Honours with the International Centre in 2009 where she evaluated the effectiveness of the Northern Territory (NT) POCT Program. Brooke joined the International Centre in 2010 and now holds the positions of Point-of-Care Coordinator for the NT POCT Program and Device and Quality Coordinator for the QAAMS POCT Program for diabetes. Brooke spoke on the NT POCT Program at the 24th International Symposium of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry's Critical Care and POCT Division in Prague, Czech Republic in 2012 and has co-authored two papers on the NT POCT Program. Brooke has lectured on POCT for drugs of abuse and malaria in the Centre's elective topic on Point-of-Care Testing for the Bachelor of Medical Science course at Flinders University.
