My research interests include understanding the interplay among impairments, activity limitations, participation restrictions, context and environment in individuals with neurodegenerative diseases (dementia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Parkinson disease), and older adults, and therapeutic interventions that allow individuals to maximize their function and quality of life in the face of dealing with the progressive nature of the disease.
