I am Campus Dean for Medical College of Wisconsin-Central Wisconsin campus. We are a new branch campus with a mission to address the primary care and psychiatry workforce shortages in Central and Northern Wisconsin. We are adopting an immersive 3 year curriculum focusing on preparing students for future practice in smaller and rural communities. I previously practiced Family Medicine in a frontier community. My academic interests are preparing students for rural practice, calendar efficient medical education (ie flexibly completing medical school without duplication and with less cost), and healthcare workforce. I am always looking for collaborators in these and other related areas.
