Jonathan ("Jonty") Eaton-Hart is a medical student at Edinburgh Medical School. Jonty has a special interest in rural General Practice and expedition medicine. During his Primary Care BMedSci, he researched how the working lives of GPs in Scotland compare between rural and non-rural areas working with Professors Stewart Mercer and John Gillies. He was the secretary of the Edinburgh University Remote and Rural Medicine Society from 2021-22.

Stewart Mercer is Professor of Primary Care and Multimorbidity at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and a GP. He is internationally recognised for his work in the inverse care law, multimorbidity, and the importance of empathy in primary care consultations.
