A medical graduate and professional researcher working with Dow University of Health Sciences. Involved in undergraduate teaching and keen interest in public health issues. Areas of special interest are infection epidemiology, tropical infectious diseases, differences in chronic disease distribution in urban and rural population, long term influences of life style on womens' health, distribution of cardiovascular risk factors in different populations and factors influencing them and cancer epidemiology.
