Maurice Yé is a medical doctor who graduated at the University Faculty Medicine of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso in 2001. From 2002 to 2006 he led the Nouna Health District in remote area where he was in charge of overseeing health care provision and District Health Planning playing the role of interface between peripheral health services and the Ministry of Health. Afterward he joined the University of Heidelberg in August 2006 to attend the Master course in International Health where he obtained the degree of Master in International Health in September 2007. He has 7 years working experience at government health services level as a health district manager, and 4 years experience at health research field as a junior researcher and his coordinating the training and researches activities at the Centre de recherché en santé de Nouna. my main focus is health system research and health financing.
