Joe is the Chief Executive of Ambulance Tasmania and member of the Tasmanian Health Executive. Ambulance Tasmania provides air and ground ambulance service as well as primary care services and inter facility transport. Joe is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Paramedicine at Charles Sturt University in NSW, Australia. Joe has a professional background as an Intensive Care Flight Paramedic and Executive Director roles in both Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. Joe has research interests in paramedic professional practice, rural and remote paramedicine, community paramedicine, industrial paramedicine, and paramedic leadership.
