Canada
I am an associate professor in the School of Health Studies at Brandon University, a small rural focused university at Brandon in the southwest corner of Manitoba, Canada. I have worked in rural settings in acute care, home care, personal care and administration. I now teach community health, long-term and rehabilitative care, and nursing leadership. My research interests include rural community development and community health promotion as well as gerontology specifically related to elderly rural couples and their interdependence.
