Currently doing research on maternal mortality and low birth weight specific mortality rates and teaching the post graduate programme of Masters in Public Health. Also co-ordinating the rural health programme of the medical undergraduates Teaching the Family Health Programme and Health Economics for the post graduates in Public Health. Also doing the WHO consulting work in many of the countries of the Western Pacific Region in Family Health,Primary Health care and Health Management.
