I completed my PhD in Health Services Research in 2009 investigating contribution of support workers to the delivery and outcomes of community rehabilitation and intermediate care services in England (University of Sheffield). Since 2004, I have been undertaken a body of research exploring the organisation and delivery of health and social care in metropolitan and regional/rural settings. I have worked in academic positions, embedded research positions within rural health services, consultancy positions and advocacy positions. I am also a co-owner of a small rural healthcare practice in rural Victoria. I currently hold an honorary appointment with the University of Melbourne.
