Family physician, previously in academic family practice 1987-2007. Now working rurally in Canada and New Zealand. Interested in interdisciplinary cooperation in rural practice, especially nurse-physician collaboration. I was director of family medicine undergraduate programs at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada 2002-7. Also interested in communication skills in undergraduate family medicine training; breaking bad news; palliative care; chronic pain management in primary care; undergraduate pain education.
